Digital Trust Audit for telecoms resellers
Technology partners get shortlisted. Lines resellers get compared on price.
Which one you are treated as is decided before anyone speaks to you. A buyer asks an assistant for a shortlist, or spends ten quiet minutes checking you out. Both run the same checks in silence. The Digital Trust Audit runs them on purpose, writes them down and scores them.
Your request goes to Digital Trust Audit, which runs the assessment and signs the report against its published standard. TelecomGrowth's part is the introduction and, if you want it, the work that follows — and Digital Trust Audit earns nothing from that work, whoever does it.
You don't get turned down by an AI, you get left out of the answer
A rejection tells you something. This does not.
When a system cannot resolve what your business is, or finds your details disagreeing with each other, it does not flag you and it does not warn you. It just names somebody else. There is no bounce message, no failed enquiry, and nothing in your pipeline report to show a shortlist you were never on.
That is the part worth sitting with. Everything else on this page is a symptom of it.
What the audit looks at
Ten areas, each scored separately so you can see where the damage is. Digital Trust Audit publishes what each area covers, not the individual tests inside it. A test known in advance is a test prepared for.
- Company record. What Companies House says about you, and whether the website agrees with it
- One business or several. Every version of your name in public, and whether they all point to the same company
- Machine-readability. Whether anything other than a person can read the site: structure, markup, real text and descriptions on images
- Navigability. Links that work, pages that exist, and calls to action that actually go somewhere
- Email authentication. Whether your mail is protected, how many platforms send in your name, and who would hear if someone else started
- Contactability and identification. Whether the published number is answered and a buyer can tell exactly who you are
- Proof. Case studies, named clients, testimonials, figures and partner badges, checked the way a stranger would check them
- Presence away from the site. Your company page, your listings and the people named on your site, and whether they agree with you
- Domain ownership. Who holds your domains, who could sign in to the account, and when they expire
- Legal pages and company particulars. Privacy, cookies and terms, and whether they do what they say
Five states for every finding
Each finding is recorded as Passed, Needs a decision, Weak, Failed, or Could not be confirmed. Anything Digital Trust Audit cannot confirm from outside is left out of the score rather than counted against you, and the report says what would settle it.
- Passed
- Needs a decision
- Weak
- Failed
- Could not be confirmed
Every failure happens between suppliers, not inside one
This is the part that surprises people, so it is worth saying plainly.
Your web developer built the site. Your IT provider runs the mail. Your wholesaler gave you a portal. Your accountant files the accounts. Your marketing agency runs the campaigns. Each one did its own job correctly.
Almost nothing the audit finds is a failure inside any of them. It is in the gaps between them, where nobody was asked to look and no dashboard shows a warning. That is why these things are invisible from the inside, and why the ones that get fixed come back: certificates renew, domains expire, platforms change their requirements, pages get edited, listings drift. Every finding is a live setting, not a job done once, and each one fails silently on a date nobody chose.

This is a sample: seven pages, ten areas, on a fictional reseller. The real one arrives the same way, under Digital Trust Audit's name, with "Requested through TelecomGrowth" on the cover.

What you get
A written report from Digital Trust Audit, scored by area and overall, with the evidence beside every line. Plain English on top and technical detail underneath, so you can read it and so can whoever looks after your systems. It is free to you, and the findings are yours to keep.
Because you asked through us, TelecomGrowth receives a copy of the report, with your agreement, so that we can offer to do the work. You are under no obligation to use us or anyone else.
Send the request from your work email
One email, from your own address, with your normal signature. Email authentication is one of the ten areas, and the message itself carries much of what Digital Trust Audit needs to check it: the domain it came from, how it authenticates, and what your signature does and does not tell a recipient. A web form would throw that away, which is why the request is an email.
Or email audit@telecomgrowth.co.uk directly. Sending the request is your agreement that TelecomGrowth receives a copy of the report. No obligation, and no mailing list.
After the report
The audit is the report. What comes after it is work you would be choosing to have done, and we price it once you have read the findings and decided what matters.
| What | Who does it | Cost to you |
|---|---|---|
| Digital Trust Audit. Ten areas, scored, with the evidence | Digital Trust Audit | Free when requested through TelecomGrowth |
| Credibility fix. The findings put right in the order that matters, including company details corrected to match the register | TelecomGrowth | Priced after you have read the report |
| Credibility watch. Certificates, domain renewals, mail records and listings watched between reports, with fixes when something slips | TelecomGrowth | Priced after you have read the report |
| AI visibility programme. The work that follows an AI Visibility Audit | TelecomGrowth | Priced after you have read the report |
| Digital Trust Monitoring. The scheduled re-assessment that keeps a certification current | Digital Trust Audit | Set by Digital Trust Audit |
Whether AI assistants put you forward
The AI Visibility Audit is a separate reading, also carried out by Digital Trust Audit: 25 buyer questions agreed with you in advance, put to seven AI answer surfaces twice on one stated day, with Google search captured separately as a control.
Questions
Is this a security audit?
No. It looks only at what anyone outside your business can see and check. Nothing is probed, nothing is tested for vulnerabilities, and nothing touches your systems.
Do I have to give anyone access to anything?
No. Everything in the report comes from what is already public, plus the email you send.
Will it tell me my business looks bad?
It tells you what the checks return. Passes are listed as clearly as failures, and a low score is the finding, not an opinion about you.
What happens after I send the email?
Digital Trust Audit runs the checks, comes back once with anything it could not confirm from outside, then sends the report. If you cannot answer those questions, those items are marked unconfirmed and left out of the score.
Who else sees the report?
Digital Trust Audit holds it. TelecomGrowth receives a copy because you asked through us, so that we can offer the work. Nobody else sees the findings, and Digital Trust Audit does not publish reports, named or anonymised.
What if you built our website?
Digital Trust Audit states that connection on the report and on any verification page, and scores the site on exactly the same criteria as anyone else's.
Do we get a badge?
Only if the business earns one. Certification is issued by Digital Trust Audit on its published criteria. TelecomGrowth cannot issue a badge or promise one, with a website or with any other work.
How is this different from the free website review?
The review is us reading your website and telling you what we see. The Digital Trust Audit is an independent, scored assessment of everything a stranger can check about your business, of which the website is one part.
